Barbara Present was born and raised in Wisconsin, lived and traveled in Asia for over a year, spent 8 years in Hawaii, and has lived in the Bay area for over 20 years. Her husband is Jon Dutra, an engineer with National Semiconductor, and they have a son, Thomas, at University of California - Santa Barbara and a daughter, Brittany, at UCLA. Together, they have enjoyed many activities over the years, including travel, sports, and caring for assorted cats, dogs and horses. They currently own and operate a marina in the nearby river delta recreation area.
Barbara has a BA degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii. She has an extensive background in music, foreign languages, travel, and equestrian sports. She has practiced real estate in the Bay area for almost 15 years. Barbara belongs to a team of distinguished real estate professionals at Alain Pinel Realtors, specializing in sophisticated and technologically advanced marketing to meet every need. In her free time, Barbara enjoys practicing yoga, playing and teaching piano, and singing with some wonderful local groups: Ladyesong, STOCtet, and The Fun Times Singers.
